Who Is A Candidate For SculpSure®

Ideal candidates for the SculpSure® procedure have extra fat on their abdomen and love handles and are near their correct body weight. SculpSure® is especially helpful when the fat bulge cannot be reduced by diet and exercise.

How It Works

The SculpSure® device is a laser. The laser light is shined on the skin for approximately 25 minutes. During this time the laser light heats the underlying fat and initiates a process that leads to the loss of fat cells. Results become visible over the next 2 to 3 months.

In order to maintain symmetry, most patients will have their right and left sides treated on the same day. One of the many advantages of the SculpSure® procedure is that the two sides can be treated simultaneously and the entire treatment completed in approximately 25 minutes. Patients may do whatever they wish during this time, including reading, working with their electronic devices, or listening to music.

Results

The SculpSure® treatment* results in a reduction of fat in the treated areas. Results look quite natural, and patients are able to achieve their results without any downtime and without surgery.

*The treatment is extremely safe. Patients are able to resume their activities immediately after leaving the office, including returning to work and exercise programs. If desired, the treatment can also be *repeated in 2-3 months to further enhance the result.

Is Lasering the Fat with SculpSure® Painful?

SculpSure® is not painful. Patients experience heating of the fat tissues, but not to temperatures so hot that it becomes uncomfortable. SculpSure® is a very well tolerated procedure.

Is SculpSure® safe?

SculpSure® is FDA approved and was found to be completely safe during the FDA approval process. It is completely non-invasive, which eliminates all of the complications that can occur with liposuction. In our office, one of our qualified medical professionals perform the SculpSure® procedures. They have extensive experience with non-invasive fat reduction and will do a complete consultation prior to treatment. They will ensure that a prospective SculpSure® patient is a good candidate for the procedure and can undergo the procedure safely.

How Much Fat Will SculpSure® Remove?

SculpSure® treatments result in noticeable fat reduction in the treated areas. You should be able to see the reduction in fat with your own eyes. Studies show that the treatment removes about 20-25% of the fat in the treated areas. For many patients that is enough fat reduction. Some patients will wish to undergo a second procedure to remove additional fat.

How many SculpSure® treatments will I need to get results?

Many patients will see sufficient improvement in one SculpSure® treatment. Some patients will choose to do a second treatment to remove additional fat. Dr. Tittle will work with each patient to determine the best treatment plan in order to achieve the desired results.

Can SculpSure® replace physical activity and balanced nutrition?

No. SculpSure® should be thought of as a body shaping and contouring procedure. It is designed to help you achieve the body form that you desire. It is not intended for patients who are significantly overweight. SculpSure® treatments work best when combined with a healthy diet and a good exercise program.
